Here is the prize money for each golfer at RBC Heritage 2022 | Golf News and Tour Information

A day later, Jordan Spieth can laugh at the miss heard in the golf world. In the end, the par 18-inch putt he putt out to end the game on Saturday didn’t cost him his 13th PGA Tour title on Sunday.

With a final of 66 at Harbor Town Golf Links, the 28-year-old qualified for the RBC Heritage playoffs. From there, an impressive par up and down from a bunker on the first extra hole gave Spieth the victory over Patrick Cantlay.

Spieth made two eagles in his first five holes on Sunday, then spent the rest of the afternoon scrambling around Harbor Town, scraping pars, shrugging off a pair of bogeys, then birdieing 10ft on the home hole to put the clubhouse at 13 under par for him and forcing the chasers to see if they could match the number.

In the end, only Cantlay could, shooting a three-under 68. The American Ryder Cup teammates each found the tee fairway on the 18th hole replay, but each hit their approach shots into the bunker front of the green. It turned out that Cantlay’s ball was plugged, so when Spieth blasted his sand shot to tap-in reach for par, Cantlay knew his job was done for him. He was only able to get his ball through 30 feet from the hole, then missed the par effort left.

When Spieth pulled it out, it meant the 18th hole nightmare the night before wasn’t the decisive shot after all.

With the win, Spieth took home the top prize money of $1.44 million out of an overall purse of $8 million. Here’s the prize money for every golfer making the cut this week on Hilton Head Island. Check back soon after the tournament and we’ll update individual names and payouts.
