Here’s the prize money for every golfer at the 2022 BMW Championship | Golf News and Tour Information

The course had changed over the past year, but there was a bit of deja-vu around the last round of the BMW championship. Once again Patrick Cantlay found himself atop the standings entering the final round of the PGA Tour’s penultimate event of the season, although this time alone in the lead at Wilmington Country Club in Delaware instead. tied at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland. And at the end of the day, he had won a victory a week before the Tour Championship.

Cantlay closed with a two-under 69 for a total of 14-under 270 to beat Scott Stallings by one shot at Wilmington CC It wasn’t a flashy round, but it was enough to give him a great shot at becoming the first player to win the FedEx Cup in consecutive years, not to mention claiming the $18 million reward that comes with the title. Cantlay’s win lifts him to second place in the FedEx Cup eligibility standings, behind Scottie Scheffler. He’ll start two strokes behind Scheffler when play begins Thursday at East Lake.

It was the fourth time in Cantlay’s career that he had led entering the final round, and the third time that he had closed things out. He has already had 10 top-10 finishes in the 2021-22 season, the most of any year in his career, but he hadn’t won an individual title. His only victory in 2022 was at the Zurich Classic, where he teamed up with Xander Schauffele en route to victory. His BMW repeat also made him the first player to win a playoff in consecutive years.

With the win, Cantlay took home the top prize of $2.7 million out of the $15 million overall purse. Here is the prize money for each competing golfer. Check back shortly after the tournament is over and we’ll update the list with individual names and how much they specifically won.
